Even though we said goodbye to 2020 a few months ago, most of us are still recovering from that disaster of a year. So to properly let it go, it’s time to replace some 2020 habits with 2021 trends. So what does this year have in store for those who like to be trendy? Here are a few biggest lifestyle trends that will shape the year:

Home offices

2020 had everyone working from home, and this trend easily carried into 2021. While some find it boring to work from home, others figured out that this is the new normal so they invested in stylish home offices that allow them to work in peace all throughout the year. If you still don’t have a designated work space at home, join the trend and do a little renovation to turn that unused living room corner into a work station or turn your basement into a proper office. Working from a proper office instead of staying in bed the entire day will make you feel more productive, motivated and professional.

Streaming

Just a few years ago, only a few of us knew what the word ‘streaming’ meant, but now, we all have at least one streaming service that we pay for regularly. In 2021, expect to see even more streaming services pop up so prepare your wallet. If you want to save up some money, you can make a list of streaming services you can’t live without and give up on the rest that you use only occasionally.

Vaping

Since more and more people are ditching (or trying to ditch) tobacco, E Cigarettes have become a new trend that can help the transition. People who witch to E Cigarettes have a much better chance of quitting their tobacco habit and improving their health. Plus, it’s very easy to get your hands on a stylish E Cigarette and various vape juices that fit your taste. You can forget all about stinky tobacco and try to break your smoking habit with something less harmful and much more pleasant on the nose and breath.

Intuitive eating

More people are giving up on restrictive diets and calorie counting, but they are not giving up on healthy habits. So what is the middle ground? Mindful or intuitive eating! This technique involves keeping your body biologically fed with adequate energy and carbohydrates that will prevent hunger and that drive to binge eat. Feeding your body will rebuild trust in food and fix your damaged relationship. Another eating trend in 2021 will be people embracing food that’s upcycled in all sorts of ways—no more wasted food. All of these diet trends are a great step forward to a healthier and greener future.

Journaling

Journaling always explodes as a trend when the times are rough and the present is uncertain, so it’s not a surprise that 2020 triggered a lot of journaling habits. We can expect to have a year of writing in front of us, so feel free to note down your thoughts and reflections. It will be interesting for future generations to see how the world changed from your perspective. And who knows, maybe you’ve been sleeping on a great writing talent you can turn into a career! And if not, at least you’ll have something cute and funny to laugh about with your friends and family when all this is over and you decide to revisit your writing.

2021 is going to be a weird year, a year full of transitions and growth for everyone. So don’t hesitate to join some of its lifestyle trends and you might also experience growth and find your happiness. Let the abovementioned lifestyle trend inspire you and help you have the best year so far.
